A little history of this project…
I'm a filmmaker, and years ago I went with my daughter to Iridium for Curtis Fuller's 75th birthday celebration. It struck me that here's a man who has played, innovated, and contributed his music throughout his extraordinary career. Shouldn't we hear whatever he'd want to tell us?
And so, this project (which, unfortunately, does not include Mr. Fuller) was born. Over the past eight years, we have interviewed over 100 of these amazing musicians.
